About the team:
Our team is a dynamic group of five engineers, including three senior software engineers and two software engineers, all bringing an impressive average of 6.5 years of experience with Alteryx.
We operate within the Data Connectors department, where we place a high
emphasis on the quality of our connectors and the automation of our tests.
We are passionate about what we do, leveraging Python to drive innovation and excellence in our work. If you're looking to join a team that combines deep expertise with a shared commitment to quality and continuous improvement, our team is the perfect fit.
Required Skills:
• 3+ years of programming experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with ODBC, JDBC
• Experience with consuming API services
• Proficient with SQL database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Understanding the fundamentals of design patterns
• Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub
• Passion for writing simple, readable, testable code
• Willingness to work in an Agile/LEAN environment within a collaborative team
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Familiarity with OAuth
• Experience with major cloud provider tooling (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
