Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in PHP 8+, Laravel, and modern web development practices. The ideal candidate will have experience developing new features, maintaining and upgrading legacy applications, troubleshooting production issues, and building scalable REST APIs. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, adherence to coding standards, and the ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
Required Skills:
3 to 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
Strong hands-on experience with PHP 8+.
Strong experience with the Laravel framework.
Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Good knowledge of software Design Patterns.
Experience working with Active Record and PDO.
Strong knowledge of MySQL and SQL query optimization.
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with Docker.
Experience creating and managing Cron Jobs, scheduled tasks, and background job processing.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience upgrading and maintaining legacy applications.
Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and Git Flow branching strategies.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP 8+ and Laravel.
Develop new features while ensuring high code quality, performance, and scalability.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues and application bugs.
Upgrade, refactor, and modernize legacy PHP applications.
Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
Write optimized SQL queries and manage relational databases using MySQL.
Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and industry-standard Design Patterns.
Work with Active Record and PDO for database interactions.
Develop, manage, and optimize Cron Jobs, scheduled tasks, and background jobs.
Containerize and manage applications using Docker.
Collaborate with frontend developers using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
Work with Git, GitLab, and follow Git Flow branching strategies for source control and collaboration.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
