What We'll Bring:
As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling real-time, FedRAMP-compliant applications using .NET, C#, and Python. You will also design real-time data pipelines and work with distributed databases on AWS cloud infrastructure. Your role will include implementing best practices for security, performance, and compliance while leveraging AWS cloud services to ensure scalability and reliability.
What You'll Bring:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain real-time applications using .NET, C#, Python, and AWS cloud services.
- Build and optimize real-time data pipelines for distributed systems and NoSQL databases (e.g., Aerospike, Cassandra, MongoDB) hosted on AWS.
- Leverage AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and others to build scalable, secure cloud-based applications.
- Work closely with the architecture and DevOps teams to design cloud-native, real-time solutions that meet FedRAMP requirements.
- Ensure high performance and real-time data processing in AWS environments while adhering to security and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing AWS infrastructure and applications for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in code reviews, security assessments, and architectural decisions to maintain best practices.
- Stay updated on new AWS technologies, tools, and certifications to ensure the team is leveraging the best cloud solutions.
Impact You'll Make:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Master’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in software development with expertise in .NET (C#) and Python.
- Deep developer-level knowledge of AWS cloud services, including experience in deploying and managing AWS cloud-native applications.
- Experience building and maintaining real-time data pipelines and working with distributed NoSQL databases (e.g., Aerospike, Cassandra, MongoDB) on AWS.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure automation using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
- Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance or similar government-regulated environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture in AWS environments.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization in real-time systems.
- AWS Developer Certification is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in .NET (C#) and Python.
- Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture and services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Expertise in building real-time data pipelines and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of best practices for secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-based applications.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
