The Demo Team is looking for a Software Engineer who will help us create visually engaging, high-quality product demos across native iOS and web experiences. You are passionate about technology, user interfaces, storytelling, and building polished digital experiences that bring product visions to life.
In your role as a Software Engineer, your day-to-day will consist of creating innovative demos and prototypes that help showcase the future of Salesforce products.
You're naturally curious and experiment with technologies like AI, robotics, image processing, beacons, AR, blockchain and more. We're always looking at how to push Salesforce products to empower people to solve more of the world's challenges.
This role is a strong fit for someone with solid iOS development skills who also enjoys frontend web development. Roughly 30% of the role will focus on iOS development, while the remaining work will focus on frontend development on the Salesforce platform, especially CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components.
This position requires someone who has strong technical understanding, attention to UI detail, and the interpersonal skills to work with many different departments across the company. You’ll spend time partnering with product teams, demo architects, designers, and marketers to design and prototype future features and product launches of Salesforce products.

Responsibilities:Partner closely with product marketers, demo architects, and designers to understand product strategy and distill key functionality and benefits into engaging demo experiences
Build polished native iOS demo experiences using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern iOS development patterns
Develop frontend web experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components
Translate high-fidelity designs into functional, visually accurate prototypes across mobile and web
Build UI-heavy experiences such as guided product flows, notifications, animations, state transitions, and interactive demo screens
Ideate and build prototypes for important Salesforce product launches, events, and customer-facing experiences
Contribute to reusable components, maintainable architecture, testing, documentation, and release readiness
Work across multiple projects concurrently with designers, developers, marketers, and product stakeholders from concept to completion
Keep current with technology trends and understand how emerging technologies can be incorporated into our keynotes, events, and demo experiences
4+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency with iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI
Experience building native iOS applications or prototypes with modern app architecture patterns such as MVVM, state management, and navigation
Experience with async/networking in Swift, including URLSession, JSON decoding, and error handling
Strong frontend development skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Strong UI implementation skills, including layout, animations, responsive behavior, and attention to visual detail
Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows
Driven, self-motivated, and flexible team player with the ability to collaborate across functions
Creative thinker who can turn product ideas and design direction into compelling technical prototypes
A proven track record in the design, development, and delivery of creative software experiences
Experience with React (or similar) or Lightning Web Components
Experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including Lightning Web Components, Aura, Apex, or Salesforce administration
Ability to turn high-fidelity designs into functional prototypes using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, Swift, and SwiftUI
Experience building polished demo, prototype, or simulation-style applications
Experience translating product flows across native mobile and web experiences
Experience improving existing codebases through reusable components, architecture cleanup, testing, documentation, and better error handling
Familiarity with backend development concepts such as REST APIs, microservices, and server-side integrations
Experience developing user interfaces in non-traditional formats such as large-format screens, car dashboards, AR/VR, or event-based experiences
Experience with Salesforce unit testing, packaging, or deployment processes
Ability to collaborate and communicate across multiple complex projects with designers, developers, marketers, and product teams from concept to completion
