We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern with foundational understanding of Java who wants to make an impact and have fun along the way.

We are looking for top tech student or professional starting their careers in the IT industry with a burning desire to increase their knowledge in solving challenging problems. The internship itself may differ slightly depending on the team you will join but for sure you will get a great taste of what it’s like to work across the company and face real business challenges. You will get support from senior engineers and other experts to help you develop professionally. 

Tech stack: Java

Working conditions: 48 PLN gross per hour (approximately 8,000 PLN gross per month, depending on the number of hours worked), civil law contract, hybrid work model.

Future tasks that will boost your career:

• Participating in real projects with the help of more experienced colleagues developing great code running on production environments across the globe
• Working on improving all stages of the software development life cycle 
• Taking part in developing functionalities of our unique, end-to-end automated technology that enables online shopping around the world - Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) 
• Benefit from working with other engineers, tech-ops, product managers, UX designers/researchers, data analytics and your buddies.
• Taking your programming skills to the next level through participation in different workshops and being close with products you will be working on
• Learning how to create tools and implement agile practices to automate productivity

You will be a perfect fit if you: 

• Are a curious 2nd year or above computer science or other IT-related fields student, or a proactive professional looking to get into tech.
• Can use Java to solve real tech problems.
• Have great communication skills in English and Polish on B2 level minimum.
• Value  collaboration and have a desire for continuous learning in new technologies.
• Are available full-time between July - September and at least 24 hours per week between October -  December 2025 (with some days off)
