We are the Entra Admin Management UX team part of IAM organization, to empower every Entra customer to drive organizational compliance and security through a high-quality, secure, and intelligent admin center. The team builds and maintains the Entra Admin Center – a single interface for managing Identities and access. It supports cloud environment and aims to deliver intuitive, consistent, and secure unified Admin experience; leads frontend engineering for Entra, setting standards for shared UX libraries. The team is also driving a transformative shift toward AI-first experience across agents, workflows and admin interfaces to provide unified Entra AI UX platform and shared infrastructure. We're looking for a Software Engineer II who is excited to solve complex technical challenges, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and contribute to the future of identity and access management.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and C# or Python OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of designing, coding, and troubleshooting cloud-based software.
- 3+ years of Proficient in various languages, especially web-based technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and C#.
- Skilled in analyzing and solving problems using query languages and tools such as Kusto.
- Proficient collaboration and communication skills across disciplines, levels, and product teams.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Self-starting attitude, excited to make things happen in new and ambiguous situations.
- Proficient in backend technologies and cloud-based architectures to build large-scale distributed systems and AI/ML experience.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
