Job Summary:
We are seeking two skilled Software Engineers with 3-4 years of experience specializing in SEO and Web Performance Optimization to join our growing Digital team. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in front-end development, along with deep knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and website performance enhancements. These roles will be pivotal in building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing, search-friendly web applications, ensuring fast load times, high accessibility, and superior user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications with a focus on SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals.
- Improve website performance by optimizing rendering, asset delivery, caching strategies, and reducing load times.
- Implement structured data (Schema.org), meta tags, and other SEO-friendly practices.
Monitor and analyze Lighthouse scores, PageSpeed Insights, and Web Vitals to improve overall performance. - Work closely with Marketing, Content, and SEO teams to ensure technical SEO enhancements align with content strategy.
- Optimize server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and lazy loading for faster page loads.
- Implement best practices for accessibility (WCAG compliance) and responsive web design.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all web pages.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines and performance monitoring tools to ensure high availability and stability.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Primary Skill Sets:
- 3-4 years of professional experience in front-end development with React.js and Next.js.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including structured data, meta tags, sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonicalization.
- Experience with performance profiling, optimization techniques, and Web Vitals improvements.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SSR, SSG, lazy loading, and asset optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai) for content delivery optimization.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and web standards.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Lighthouse, and PageSpeed Insights.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentstack, Strapi, Sanity).
- Knowledge of server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js and their impact on SEO.
- Understanding of Cloudflare Workers, edge computing, and advanced caching strategies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like New Relic, Datadog, or WebPageTest.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Basic knowledge of AI-driven SEO strategies (e.g., AI-powered keyword research, content generation, and automated optimizations).
