WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

The Videojet team is looking for a technically strong teammate, who will work with us to test software associated with new printer products, ongoing printer product software enhancements and sustainment with Videojet processes and quality standards.

YOUR ROLE:

The Junior Test Engineer will use their testing skills to ensure the quality of the software is suitable for release to the customer. One of the responsibilities will required this role to interact with the Engineer Manager on seeking clarity on requirement and collaborate with team. Individual needs to be self-starter and be proactive in learning new testing concepts, automation and apply the takeaways on project. The Test Engineer should be knowledgeable on STLC practices.
This position will be required to work with a team across the globe, that includes Software Architects, Developers and Testers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and author test scenarios and test cases
• Execute test cases
• Develop and maintain a sound understanding of all Videojet products.
• Team up to deliver high quality software on time!

• 2 to 4 years in Manual Testing.
• At least 1+ years in Automation.
• Hands-on of Python, C/Java would be an added advantage
• Hands-on/knowledge on authoring test cases
• Knowledge on one or more test management & automation tools
• Knowledge on testing concepts: Functional, Non-functional areas
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Formal training on testing/automation would be a plus
• 4 year degree (Computer Science/equivalent Engineering)
