We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Homebase’s engineering team. You'll be working to help maintain, build, and enhance our core Scheduling product. You'll play a pivotal role in advancing Homebase’s core scheduling capabilities, improving performance, and delivering an unparalleled customer experience.
What we’re looking for:

Experience with at least one modern programming language (Ruby preferred!)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

You will make an impact by:

Design and develop scalable software solutions that align with Homebase’s mission of helping small businesses and building unstoppable teams

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement new features

Work on major initiatives such as chatbot agent integration, admin tool development, scheduling enhancements, and AI-driven automation

Maintain high-quality coding standards through code reviews and testing

Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Troubleshoot technical challenges and contribute to performance optimizations
