About the job
At GPHE Digital Service, our mission is to drive innovation and empower the Energy Division at Alfa Laval by enabling cutting-edge digital solutions that boost service sales and streamline service execution that contribute to saving energy and water consumption for our customers. We work in close collaboration with Alfa Laval’s IT organization, serving as the crucial bridge between technology and business.
As a Software Engineer in the GPHE digital services team you will work in an agile delivery set-up with a quite diverse range of tasks and solutions. We are a quite small team with big tasks, and we value broad competence and a can-do mindset with little fear of the unknown and willingness to step in where needed.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain algorithms and software applications for service and sales business in Energy division, and particularly GPHE.
Test and enhance algorithms and applications and be the owner of the test frameworks.
Contribute to the analytics solutions owned by the group.
Manage and document our software infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Alfa Laval policies and supporting deployment to our IoT platform.
This position will be based in Lund, Sweden.
What you know
You have a bachelor or master’s degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent, with strong development skills in .NET/C#, TypeScript, React and SQL. You have experience with Azure and cloud deployments, and knowledge of Python is highly valued.
Familiarity with data modelling, machine learning, unit testing, Python packaging and Git/Gitflow is important. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
