The Opportunity: Be Part of Our Onboarding Team

Onboarding team plays a pivotal role in Airwallex's mission by facilitating the rapid integration of businesses into our platform. As a data-driven team, we utilize extensive analytics to refine our processes and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. Our primary mission involves performing Know Your Customer (KYC) and risk-based operations to maintain the highest standards of compliance and security as we handle sensitive financial data, and empower business customers through robust, secure, and intuitive user and account management solutions.

This team is instrumental in our regional expansion, helping to onboard a growing number of customers into new markets. By supporting global expansion, we are also tasked with increasing the coverage of our product offerings, ensuring that businesses worldwide can benefit from our innovative financial solutions. Through our efforts, we aim to streamline the onboarding process, reduce barriers to entry, and foster a secure and compliant environment that empowers businesses to thrive in the digital economy.

Responsibilities:

  • Coding with the latest version of React and Typescript to build high-quality products;

  • Build micro FE web applications with domain-based design architecture and seamless integrate by using a single SPA framework and best practices;

  • Leverage Apollo GraphQL as the backend for frontend(BFF) to build scalable and high-performance node service with simple and contact-based integration with backend;

  • Cooperate with the design team to build a design system and common components, provide universal UI / UX experience across different domain teams, benchmark material-ui and ant design;

  • Deliver NPM package and library widgets with open source project to easy client integration;

  • Leverage GCP & Aliyun K8S / Bucket CDN and Cloudflare to deploy micro FE and node.js service with GitLab CICD best practices;

  • Adopt React testing library/test render / cypress to design high-quality unit test and e2e test with 80%+ coverage;

  • Using contentful and next.js to build nocode / serverless CMS system for corpsite & branding landing pages.

Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of front-end development experience;

  • Have experience in developing large-scale financial web systems;

  • Computer or related major, bachelor degree or above;

  • Proficient in HTML5 / CSS3 / ECMAScript 6 + / TypeScript;

  • Proficient in React, VUE, Angular and corresponding technology stack;

  • Familiar with Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap 3 or other CSS frameworks;

  • Familiar with HTTP (s) protocol and RESTful specifications;

  • Familiar with building BFF using node.js

  • Collaborate and Refine: Work closely with Product Management, Design, and Operations to enhance product features, ensuring our platform exceeds customer expectations and maintains regulatory compliance.

  • Innovate and Implement: Use your sharp product insight to validate and evolve product requirements, integrating robust, data-driven feedback mechanisms into our systems.

  • Lead Technological Integration: Craft and refine public APIs and JavaScript SDKs that are easy to integrate by customers.

  • Decision Making: Apply solid engineering principles and effective decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment to deliver solutions that align with business goals.

  • Ensure Security Awareness: Develop a keen sense of security to build products that earn customer trust and effectively combat threats from bad actors. Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to safeguard sensitive customer data and transactions.

Skills Required

  • More than 3 years of front-end development experience
