What you will do

  • Oversee the technology team, interview and select people, motivate and inspire the team and drive retention and employee engagement. 

  • Provide software engineers constant feedback and prepare individual development plans to have team members prepared for succession or to occupy new seniority positions. 

  • Ensure the quality of deliveries, prioritize initiatives oriented to metrics (eg reliability, code smells, technical debts, bugs), define quality strategy and quality techniques/frameworks (eg BDD, TDD, FDD , test automation), oversee the processes and controls of delivery flow at different discovery, development, testing, approval and implementation phases and ensure stability, performance and maintenance of organizational systems. 

  • Ensure the efficiency of the teams through the use of metrics (availability, cloud cost, throughput, lead time, blockages), ensuring the balance of indicators according to the defined goals and raising the need for additional resources as needed. 

  • Facilitate integration between product teams and other areas of the company focused on the client by defining responsibilities and agreements, and systematically optimizing workflow and communication.

What experience you need 

  • Minimum of 10 years experience building solutions and applications across multiple technology areas and application stacks

  • 5+ years of Programming experience as a developer (full stack development).

  • You must have extensive experience with Core Java / J2EE, Spring, Microservices, Containers, REST, MVC. Big Data experience.

  • 1+ year experience in Python, APIs, Microservices, Kubernetes, Spark

  • Must have experience implementing and designing systems or applications in the big data ecosystem (Hadoop): MapReduce/Spark/Kafka.

  • Strong knowledge of databases; Oracle, NOSQL, RDMS, SQL Queries

  • Technical experience creating the following: deliverables, designs, estimates, proofs of concept and/or diagrams

  • Must have experience with Cloud Platforms like GCP or prior experience in AWS or Azure. 

  • Prior experience in architecting and implementing highly scalable, distributed, multi-tenant microservices backend solutions.

  • Domain knowledge of Credit file,Inquiries, user of Credit data, Models, Scores, attributes. Financial services

  • You have solid hands-on experience on Secure Software Development Life Cycles and working with diverse technology platforms
