Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Go (Golang)
- Build and expose RESTful and gRPC APIs consumed by frontend and third-party integrations
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, message queues, and event-driven architectures
- Integrate with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) for deployment, storage, and messaging services
- Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure reliability and code quality
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain technical documentation, API contracts, and system design artifacts
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps workflows for continuous delivery
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4–5 years of hands-on professional experience in software development with Go (Golang) as the primary language
- Strong understanding of Go internals — goroutines, channels, interfaces, and memory management
- Solid experience building RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services
- Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
- Understanding of software engineering principles: version control (Git), testing strategies, and CI/CD concepts
- Exposure to cloud environments — Azure or AWS — for deployment and infrastructure
Preferred Characteristics
- Experience with distributed systems design patterns (CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga pattern)
