Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of external APIs from insurance and third-party providers into Plumʼs platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a shared roadmap for integrations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions using Java, with Node.js as an additional skill asset.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of integration projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of integrations by implementing robust testing and monitoring practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the teamʼs growth and knowledge-sharing culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorʼs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in Java.
- Proven experience in leading vertical integration projects, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sectors.
- Familiarity with Node.js is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
