Introduction to the Team
The Supply team builds and scales partner-facing technology that helps our partners succeed across the Expedia Group platform. In this role, you will:
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software components and services, contributing to low-level system design, API design, and data modeling within your team’s domain.
Implement robust, secure, and performant code using established engineering best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, observability, and continuous integration and delivery.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to refine requirements into clear technical solutions, breaking down work into incremental, shippable deliverables.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, improving reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of services you own or support.
Safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve outcomes, including familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration, enabling your solutions to be reusable and fungible across multiple services and domains.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.
2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Professional software development experience working on production systems and services.
Experience owning and delivering components or services within a larger system, including responsibility for design, implementation, testing, and operational readiness.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and core computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and distributed systems basics, including experience building and consuming APIs and working with relational or NoSQL data stores.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of full‑stack development experience across front‑end and back‑end services
Recent hands-on experience building and operating Node.js + React-based applications in production
Experience implementing and maintaining GraphQL-based backends
Experience designing and implementing service APIs and data models consumed by multiple teams or products
Experience running production services with monitoring, alerting, and on-call participation (e.g., pager rotation)
Experience as a Clean Code practitioner committed to producing high-quality code.
Solid experience with agile project methodologies and working with distributed teams.
Please note that this role is only available in Seattle in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week. We are unable to offer relocation assistance for this role.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $119,000.00 to $166,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $190,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
