About the Role
As a Software development Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our server-side applications. Working closely with senior backend engineers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Leverage Apache Flink for large-scale data processing to execute both financial and non-financial activities during end-of-day operations.
- Utilize PostgreSQL for database management and AWS Athena for complex data queries and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver robust software solutions that meet the demanding needs of global financial institutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, security and scalability of our systems. Ensure code quality and performance through rigorous testing and continuous integration practices.

Experience and Qualifications
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Should have hands-on development experience with Object Oriented Programming (Java is highly preferred) on a large-scale system
