The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions. This includes working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. The ServiceNow Developer will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing ServiceNow applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and implement complex ServiceNow solutions.
Develop Service Catalog items, workflows, and service request processes.
Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues using problem-solving skills.
Stay up to date on the latest ServiceNow features and functionality.
Contribute to the development and implementation of ServiceNow platform, including core functionalities, modules, and best practices.
Communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, to identify and document business processes that can be automated using ServiceNow.
Working with a team of IT Operations engineers to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems, such as monitoring and ticketing systems.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings to provide progress updates and address any blockers.
Working with a user experience mindset to develop and deploy solutions for customers.
Participating in Agile planning ceremonies to help define and prioritize ServiceNow work for the upcoming sprint.
Developing and testing ServiceNow solutions in accordance with the Agile methodology.
Deploying and supporting ServiceNow solutions in a production environment.
Experience in designing and implementing Service Catalog items, workflows, and service request processes.
Must be self-directed with proven ability to make mature decisions supported by thorough data and process analysis.
Monitoring ServiceNow performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Sharing knowledge and best practices with other team members through code reviews, pair programming, and training sessions.
Mentor and train junior ServiceNow developers.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience
3-5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
Experience with the following ServiceNow modules:
o IT Service Management (ITSM)
o IT Operations Management (ITOM)
o IT Asset Management (ITAM)
o Service Portal
Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Service Catalog
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience with ServiceNow integrations
Experience with ServiceNow reporting and analytics
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus
