About this opportunity:
Ericsson Orchestrator Lifecycle Manager (EO LM) is the latest solution in EO's line-up - our answer to the ever-changing landscape of network orchestration, streamlined for Kubernetes and the GitOps approach. EO LM manages CNF (Container Network Function) based networks deployed into Kubernetes, where the Git repository serves as the single source of truth and lifecycle management is handled automatically by a dedicated microservice.
This combined role brings together hands-on software engineering and Agile leadership. The ideal candidate will contribute to building next-generation orchestration solutions while also acting as a servant-leader who enables the team to deliver continuous value through Scrum practices.
What you will do
- Analyze detailed requirements from Solution Architects, Business Leaders, and Service Delivery Engineers
- Design, build, and test software solutions for EO LM
- Participate in technical studies and prototype development
- Collaborate closely with all teams across various sites
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Coach the team on Agile mindset, self-organization, and continuous improvement
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress
- Shield the team from external disruptions and scope creep
- Act as a bridge between the Scrum team and external stakeholders
- Support the Product Owner with backlog management and user story refinement
- Continuously assess team performance and drive process improvements
What you will bring
- MSc or BSc degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Architecture, design principles, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Helmfile, Service Mesh, and database technologies (Postgres, Redis, etc.)
- GitOps and DevOps knowledge and experience
- Experience with metrics and log aggregation and analysis
- Understanding of Git and CI/CD concepts
- Security background: user/password management, encryption, certificate management, and secure communication
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Coaching and mentoring mindset
- Good command of written and spoken English
