About this opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer (Software Architect) to lead the architectural evolution and modernization of our core backend services.
This role focuses on designing resilient, cloud-native backend systems and providing technical leadership while working closely with Cloud Architects, DevOps teams, and backend engineers.
This role plays an important part in shaping the long-term backend architecture of our core platforms.

또한 iPECS의 핵심 플랫폼을 장기적인 관점에서 바라보고, 백엔드 아키텍처의 방향성과 기준을 만들어가는 데 중요한 역할을 담당합니다.
Key Responsibilities
- Redefine backend architecture of core services toward MSA and cloud-native approaches
- Establish and lead system refactoring standards considering resilience, continuous delivery, and observability
- Collaborate with Cloud Architects to design application architectures aligned with infrastructure structures
- Lead gradual modernization initiatives including legacy module decomposition, module boundary redesign, and API/domain model refinement
- Provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, and development guideline definition
- Participate in defining technical roadmaps scalable to future team and service expansion
- Conduct PoCs for new technologies and drive internal technical knowledge sharing
- Participate in architectural decision-making considering security, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Define service SLA/SLO standards and establish quality and reliability metrics

- 파트• 팀 단위 확장이 가능한 기술 로드맵 정의 참여
- 신규 기술 도입 시 PoC 수행 및 기술 공유• 전파 주도
- 보안, 성능, 확장성, 비용 효율을 고려한 아키텍처 의사결정 참여
- 서비스 SLA/SLO 기준 정의 및 품질• 안정성 관리 체계 수립
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development and software architecture
- Strong hands-on experience in designing and building backend software architectures
- Experience designing or refactoring architectures for large-scale or mission-critical systems
- Solid understanding of cloud-native concepts such as resilience, scalability, CI/CD, and observability
- Good understanding of domain modeling, transactions, and data consistency
- Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring within development teams or projects
- Hands-on experience in backend system development and operations
- Experience designing inter-service communication using RESTful APIs and/or gRPC
- Practical experience working in collaborative development and code review environments

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and operating services in Kubernetes-based environments such as OpenStack
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in public cloud environments
- Experience with event-driven architectures or message-based communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Experience applying architectural patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or Clean Architecture
- Experience collaborating closely with DevOps/Cloud teams, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring
- Experience in project-level or team-level management
