Job Description
As an Application Specialist, you will use your experience to help adapt our agencies business processes to the newly installed solutions. This results-driven professional will be responsible for helping agencies prioritize and adapt their needs within a given timetable. Primarily, you will aid in the installation and training of our Analytics products during the implementation timeline and manage the day-to-day tasks to keep the customer to the configuration timeline.
Responsibilities may include:
- Implementation, configuration, and training of core software
- Setting of goals and expectations for configuration timelines with our customers
- Tracking and reporting on actual progress made by customers to the internal project group
- Working with software developers and project support teams
- Meeting with system users to understand common workflows and scope
- Helping agencies to meet needs with out of the box solutions
- Communicating findings to technical and non-technical colleagues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of technical experience using Information Management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of more than one of the following:
- SQL Server Analysis Services
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- SQL Server Database Engine
- Microsoft Power BI knowledge and experience is required.
- Experience with Analytical reporting (KPIs, Graphs, and Dashboards) is required.
- Basic Integration know-how as API's / ETL.
- Experience in public safety workflows and software preferred but not required.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills required.
- Travel approximately up to 70%, including domestic and international.
