This is a hybrid role, onsite in our Encino office 4 days/week. You must currently live in the Greater Los Angeles area — we're not able to consider remote candidates or candidates requiring relocation for this position.

About the Role

Kurv is a trusted payment processor headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with locations across the country. As a leading provider, Kurv offers merchant services, credit card processing, mobile and contactless payment solutions (including Tap-to-Pay and QR payments), and eCommerce payment gateways for SMBs, delivering robust solutions that simplify and expedite how businesses accept payments.

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to own the day-to-day content, community, and performance of our social channels across two distinct B2B brands. You'll plan and execute a consistent content calendar across Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X, partner with our in-house team of designers, video editors, PR, and event specialists to bring posts to life, and use data to continuously sharpen what we publish and when. This role sits at the intersection of creative and performance, working closely with paid media, SEO, and communications functions.

Content Creation

  • Plan 30-day content calendars across Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X
  • Write captions and create or coordinate with designers to finalize posts
  • Apply conversion-focused CTAs and UTMs for tracking
  • Test UTMs and forms to ensure accurate CRM lead capture; coordinate with dev on fixes
  • Partner with internal and external teams to create and amplify assets and campaigns
  • Pitch short-form content ideas, angles, and clip selections to the video editor for repurposing long-form video
  • Maintain consistent brand identity while adapting tone, format, and strategy to each brand's positioning

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track KPIs (impressions, engagement, CTR) to continuously improve campaigns
  • Test copy and visuals on key posts to identify top-performing strategies
  • Share high-performing organic content with the paid media team for boosting and advertisement adaptation
  • Liaise with the paid media team on advertising and influencer campaigns
  • Time publishing to peak engagement windows by platform and audience
  • Monitor trends, competitor performance, and algorithm updates to inform strategy
  • Use SEO and GSC insights to inform content strategy
  • Liaise with the sales teams and key stakeholders to stay advised on down-funnel campaign impacts
  • Deliver monthly performance recaps with wins, learnings, and recommendations
  • Community Engagement
  • Monitor DMs and comments; partner with the Communications Manager on responses, when applicable
  • Liaise with the communications team to amplify PR, thought leadership, and customer loyalty content
  • Engage in relevant Facebook groups to build community
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with creators, partners, and brand advocates for organic amplification

Who Thrives in This Role

  • This is a high-trust, high-visibility seat. You'll be in constant communication with the Director of Brand and Creative and the CMO circulating insights and strategy, not just checking in on a schedule. You'll do well here if you:
  • Communicate early and often, flagging both successes and opportunities
  • Bring real energy to the work. Ask questions, offer up data-backed suggestions, push back when something doesn't add up, and strive to understand the "why"
  • Take ownership of your piece in the brands’ owned media landscape and jump at opportunities to collaborate with other marketing channel owners

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or in-house marketing team
  • Proven track record of growing engagement and lead generation through organic social
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across multiple brand voices
  • Comfortable working with data; pulling reports, spotting trends, and translating numbers into action
  • Experience coordinating with designers, video editors, or external creative partners
  • Familiarity with UTM tracking, CRM lead flow, or performance marketing fundamentals is a plus
  • B2B, fintech, or payments industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Tools & Software
  • Sprout Social
  • Google Analytics/GA4, Google Search Console, native platform insights
  • Zoho CRM
  • Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
