About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based digital marketing company helping home service businesses generate qualified leads and increase local brand visibility through organic community marketing.

Rather than relying exclusively on traditional paid advertising, the company has developed a highly effective approach centered around authentic engagement, local online communities, compelling content, and organic social media strategies.

The organization supports hundreds of businesses across industries such as roofing, construction, landscaping, painting, home improvement, and other local service categories.

The company has a strong culture of internal growth and believes in developing talented team members into increasingly responsible roles as the organization continues to scale.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, energetic Social Media Manager to support the development, execution, and growth of the company's organic social media presence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who may not have many years of experience yet but has the drive, curiosity, creativity, and work ethic to learn quickly and take on increasing responsibility.

The ideal candidate is highly engaged with social media, understands what makes content interesting and relevant, follows digital trends closely, and enjoys thinking about how brands can build authentic relationships with online communities.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in social media and digital marketing within a growing organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the planning and execution of organic social media strategies.

  • Create, schedule, publish, and manage content across relevant social media platforms.

  • Monitor comments, engagement, conversations, and community activity.

  • Identify emerging trends, topics, hooks, and content formats that can increase reach and engagement.

  • Research competitors, creators, communities, and successful social media strategies.

  • Collaborate with copywriting, marketing, and other internal teams on content initiatives.

  • Help maintain an organized and consistent social media content calendar.

  • Track basic social media performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and contribute new content ideas.

  • Help ensure content remains relevant, engaging, authentic, and aligned with brand objectives.

  • Take ownership of additional marketing responsibilities as experience and performance grow.

QualificationsRequired
  • Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, content, and online communities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Professional English proficiency.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Proactive, dependable, responsive, and comfortable taking initiative.

  • Comfortable learning new platforms, tools, and processes.

  • Ability to work independently and stay accountable in a fully remote environment.

  • Curiosity about social media trends, content formats, and audience behavior.

  • Availability to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Preferred
  • Previous internship, freelance, agency, or professional experience in social media or digital marketing.

  • Experience managing or contributing to business or creator social media accounts.

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling or management platforms.

  • Basic experience working with social media analytics and performance metrics.

  • Understanding of organic social media strategy, community engagement, and content performance.

  • Experience researching social media trends, competitors, creators, or viral content.

  • Exposure to Facebook Groups, community marketing, or local business marketing is a plus.

What We’re Looking For

We are especially interested in someone who is:

  • Hungry to learn: You actively look for opportunities to improve your skills.

  • Energetic: You bring enthusiasm and momentum to your work.

  • Proactive: You do not wait to be told about every opportunity or problem.

  • Curious: You want to understand why certain content performs and why audiences engage.

  • Creative: You enjoy generating ideas, testing different approaches, and spotting trends.

  • Coachability: You are receptive to feedback and apply it quickly.

  • Dependable: Your team can rely on you to follow through and communicate consistently.

  • Growth-oriented: You want to take on more responsibility as your skills develop.

How Success Is Measured

Success in this role will be measured through:

  • Consistent execution of social media activities and content.

  • Quality and accuracy of published content.

  • Growth in social media engagement and community interaction.

  • Ability to identify relevant trends and contribute useful content ideas.

  • Organization and reliability in managing content schedules and priorities.

  • Responsiveness and communication with internal teams.

  • Ability to learn quickly and progressively take ownership of larger responsibilities.

Why Join Us
  • Join a growing digital marketing organization with a proven approach to organic lead generation.

  • Work with a team focused on creativity, experimentation, and measurable business results.

  • Gain hands-on experience across social media, content, community engagement, and digital marketing.

  • Build experience working with U.S.-based businesses and brands.

  • Receive opportunities to take ownership of increasingly important projects.

  • Develop your career within a company that strongly prioritizes internal promotion and professional growth.

Growth Opportunity

Internal promotion is an important part of the company's culture.

High-performing team members are encouraged to expand their responsibilities, develop new skills, and pursue more senior opportunities as the organization grows.
