As a Social Media Intern , you will be working closely with Ericsson's Global Marketing and Communication team, providing social media management , copywriting and listening support for multiple channels. Prime expectation will be to ensure all social media assets produced are high-quality and in line with Ericsson's brand guidelin e s and tone of voice .
What you will do
- Social media accounts/channels management
- Providing copywriting support for various social media channels.
- Work on global projects for the Marketing & Communications teams by providing content for social channels, both organic and paid
- Review & edit written SM content for grammar, verbiage, and comprehensibility to make them errorfree and according to Ericsson brand guidelines.
- Support the preparation and distribution of daily media monitoring updates, ensuring timely identification and sharing of relevant news and industry developments.
- Assist senior colleagues with monthly reporting on key Ericsson themes.
- Support reporting activities around major industry events, product launches and corporate announcements.
- Help maintain and optimize monitoring setups in Meltwater, including searches, dashboards and filters.
- Contribute to ad hoc research and analysis projects related to media and social media, competitive intelligence, and industry trends.
- Assist in ensuring reporting quality, consistency and accuracy across markets and topics.
You will bring
- Ongoing full-time university studies in Hungary (English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media and Communication).
- Availability to work onsite two times per week at Ericsson's Budapest office for at least 8 consecutive months (at least 20 hours per week, between 9:00- 17:00).
- Familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Basic knowledge of social media management tools like Hootsuite, Meltwater etc. and social listening is a plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eye for details in terms of grammar and verbiage.
- Command over the US English guidelines.
- A knack for editing and proof reading with good research and paraphrasing skills.
- Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for global audience.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines in multi-project, stakeholder scenario.
