The Social Media Specialist will develop and implement social media strategies to enhance
brand visibility, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. You will
manage our social media presence across various channels, creating compelling content
and analyzing performance metrics to optimize our outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms
(e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
• Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with broader
marketing initiatives.
• Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, providing actionable
insights to improve engagement and reach.
• Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a community around the
brand.
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a
competitive edge.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in social media management, preferably in the IT or
technology sector.
• Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a creative flair.
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout
Social, Google Analytics).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with paid social media advertising and campaigns.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for content
creation.
• Knowledge of social media SEO and content optimization techniques.
