ABOUT 321 THE AGENCY

321 is a full-funnel creative agency built for brands that operate in complex, regulated industries — healthcare, insurance, legal services, home services, entertainment, and travel and tourism. We're a remote, AI-first team that combines strategic creative with CRM infrastructure, performance marketing, and paid media to drive real, measurable business outcomes for our clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Content Strategist & Creator at 321, you will be a full-time member of our Social Media & Content team, helping plan, capture, and create authentic social content for a diverse portfolio of client accounts. You'll work remotely, with regular travel to client locations throughout Illinois and the Midwest for on-site content capture sessions. Your role combines hands-on production skills with content strategy — shaping what we create and why, shooting compelling photos and videos, and editing content for social platforms using AI-enhanced tools.

You'll also help grow our creator and influencer programs, sourcing, vetting, and reaching out to creator partners who can extend our clients' reach with authentic, trusted voices.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, production, brand storytelling, creator partnerships, and AI-powered workflows. You'll bring expertise in mobile and professional content capture, the ability to quickly understand brand voices, and the strategic thinking to turn business objectives into scroll-stopping content. As part of an AI-first organization, you'll use intelligent tools to accelerate ideation and editing and to scale content production while keeping storytelling authentic and on-brand.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with the Director of Social Media & Content and Social Media Managers to develop content plans, themes, and series for assigned client accounts
  • Translate client objectives, brand voice, and audience insights into shoot concepts, shot lists, scripts, and hooks
  • Contribute to editorial calendars, ensuring a steady pipeline of captured and edited content for each account
  • Identify content opportunities from client operations, including project showcases, team spotlights, customer testimonials, and educational topics
  • Review content performance data and use insights to recommend new formats, concepts, and improvements
  • Use AI tools for research, ideation, scripting, and trend analysis to inform content strategy

On-Site Content Capture

  • Travel to client locations throughout Illinois and the Midwest for scheduled content capture sessions (typically full-day shoots)
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content using professional and mobile equipment based on project requirements and creative briefs
  • Direct on-camera talent, including business owners, employees, customers, and team members, to create authentic, engaging content
  • Scout and use diverse locations, lighting conditions, and environments to create visually dynamic content
  • Capture B-roll, process documentation, before-and-after transformations, team culture moments, and customer testimonials
  • Work efficiently to maximize output during limited on-site windows, capturing multiple content concepts per session
  • Adapt your shooting approach to each industry, from roofing job sites and medical facilities to real estate properties and legal offices

Content Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit captured content into platform-optimized posts using CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools, and other editing applications
  • Create content in multiple formats and aspect ratios (9:16 for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts; 4:5 and 1:1 for feed posts; 16:9 for YouTube) from single capture sessions
  • Use AI-powered tools for captioning, scene detection, color correction, audio enhancement, background removal, and other creative enhancements
  • Add text overlays, graphics, transitions, music, and effects that align with platform trends and client brand guidelines
  • Ensure brand consistency across all content, including color grading, typography, logo placement, and visual style
  • Organize and deliver content with clear file naming conventions and maintain asset libraries of raw and edited footage

Platform-Specific Optimization

  • Stay current on platform trends, audio, editing styles, and formats across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Create native content for each platform, from fast-paced TikTok videos to polished LinkedIn business content
  • Optimize content for organic reach and social search, using strong hooks, captions, on-screen text, and keywords
  • Incorporate trending audio, effects, and formats while maintaining brand authenticity and professional standards
  • Test and iterate on content styles based on performance data and platform changes

Creator & Influencer Partnerships

  • Source creators and influencers who align with each client's audience, industry, geography, and brand values, with a focus on local and niche creators
  • Vet potential partners by reviewing content quality, audience demographics, engagement authenticity, brand safety, and past partnerships
  • Conduct outreach to prospective creator partners, communicate campaign concepts, and coordinate next steps
  • Maintain a creator database with contact information, rates, audience data, performance history, and partnership status
  • Support creator campaigns by preparing briefs, coordinating content deliverables and approvals, and tracking usage rights
  • Ensure creator content follows FTC endorsement and disclosure guidelines and applicable industry compliance requirements
  • Track and report on creator content performance to inform future partnerships

Collaboration & Professionalism

  • Participate in pre-production planning calls to align on shoot concepts, deliverables, and creative direction
  • Provide creative input based on on-site observations, platform expertise, and performance insights
  • Accept feedback and make revisions efficiently to meet client expectations and strategic objectives
  • Respect client confidentiality, privacy requirements, and industry compliance considerations, including HIPAA and attorney advertising rules
  • Represent 321 professionally during on-site shoots and creator outreach, building positive relationships with clients, talent, and partners
