Play your part in our team

Brand Marketing & Activation Team focuses on building the LEGO Brand strengths in the China Market. It is structured into below expertise areas: Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Marketing, Media Activation, and Marketing Planning & Effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the social marketing expertise working hand in hand with Brand marketing teams, with serving the most engaging social content to our Consumers in mind, to grow LEGO Group’s Brand Strengths in China Market,
  • Be the social marketing trend expert in the team to provide youth culture insights, and drive impactful and relevant content activation strategy for our CGs to grow brand strengths and support the business goals,
  • Drive and innovate TLG’s earned and shared aspects of our brand content strategy and execution in China,
  • Lead social content curation and production management, including engaging content posting and community engagement,
  • Build earned/shared programs & event stunts to provide content production expertise in all campaigns that drive brand/business impact and measurable action (grow brand strengths, build consumer relevance through brand conversations in social space, increase brand search in key platforms)
  • Develop new and innovative ways in telling Brand story in the China Market to key audiences; strategically connecting to influencers, celebrities, social media channels to deliver results,
  • Build social relevancy and brand strengths with a long-term vision for the Brand and the consumer growth journey (ACB goals),
  • Manage related agencies’ resources and overall performance,
  • Plan, manage and deploy creative contents and assets; lead social content mapping & planning strategy to deliver effective integration across different social platforms,
  • Be the face and voice of China MG in global social campaign development process and champion local social marketing needs with influence and presence in Global planning forums.
  • Develop the capability of the team and the career path of each team members.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 10+ years Social Marketing, content driven marketing tactics, PR Communication experience in FMCG/retail industry
  • BA degree in related field required, Master/MBA preferred.
  • Experience managing and producing large-scale, content-led consumer events / activations
  • Demonstrable skill in content marketing, influencer strategy, management and activation
  • Proven experience in launching consumer products, with a strong passion for driving innovative and comprehensive campaigns
  • “Player-coach” mentality and tools; ability to both lead and challenge the team strategically, while also implementing the plan at a tactical level
  • Creative problem solver; critical thinking mindset; can-do attitude in crafting new paths where there has no playbook to follow
  • Demonstrable skill in navigating and delivering against “stretch goals” in complex organizational
