Summary of Role
The SMB Account Executive is a quota-carrying sales professional responsible for driving new logo acquisition and expansion revenue within the SMB segment across assigned North American territories. This role requires a high-activity, disciplined approach to pipeline generation, deal qualification, and closing within a fast-paced SaaS sales environment. Bilingual fluency in English and French is required to effectively serve customers across English Canada and Quebec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and achieve an annual quota for new logos and a book of accounts in your assigned territory.
  • Run full sales cycle from prospecting to close, with meaningful self-sourced pipeline expected alongside Marketing-sourced opportunities.   
  • Expand accounts into additional modules, users, sites, and geographies, and run multi-year renewal and upsell motions. 
  • Manage a high-velocity pipeline with consistent attention to MEDDPICC qualification standards and rigorous Salesforce hygiene, ensuring all activity, pipeline, and forecast data is current and accurate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SMB customer stakeholders throughout the sales cycle and post-close with professionalism and subject matter credibility.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience in an SMB or commercial segment.
  • New logo + expansion revenue: balanced growth across acquisition and existing accounts  
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota targets.
  • Self-sourced pipeline: Strong prospecting skills with experience in high-velocity, full-cycle sales motions.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or equivalent sales qualification methodology.
  • Excellent communication, discovery, and closing skills.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
  • Based in or willing to work from Montreal, Quebec.
  • Business fluent in English and French — written and spoken.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience selling Cybersecurity or Security Services solutions  
  • Spanish
