Our client, a leading multinational construction company, is seeking to employ experienced Site Supervisors in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth construction of all projects under their supervision in line with the required quality and time as directed by their Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the construction works being carried out on site and ensuring the quality is at the required level and delivered on schedule as directed by the Project Manager.
- Interfacing with subcontractors representatives/workers on site to ensure all works are being carried out in line with the approved/relevant drawings and to the required quality.
- Ensuring best work practices are being used and all workers are properly kitted with the essential PPE at all times.
- Ensuring that all site rules and regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Perform any other functions as requested by the Project Manager and Technical Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building or a relevant discipline
- Relevant certifications in Engineering or Building technology are an advantage but not required
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Civil Engineering.
- The years of experience required refers to years of civil engineering (building) experience and not just years of 'general working experience'.
- The ideal candidates should have experience with high rise buildings, blocks of flats, shopping malls, office developments etc.
Skills Required
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building or a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Civil Engineering
