About this opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our site solutions presales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of telecom power & energy systems and play a critical role in supporting the Market Area team with technical expertise. This position involves working closely with customer units, understanding their technical needs, providing power & energy system solutions, and demonstrating the value proposition of our products and services.
What you will do:
Respond to RFx (Request for Proposal, Information, or Quotation) from Communication service provides, understand their requirements, and provide tailored site solutions.
Act as the technical expert for telecom power & energy solutions in the presales phase, working with the market area team to identify and propose appropriate solutions for customer needs.
Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proposals for telecom site products and solutions including DC/AC power systems, rectifiers, batteries, power controller, installation and interconnect products and other passive radio site infra.
Collaborate with customer units to understand their specific requirements and tailor solutions that meet those needs.
Design site solutions for Radio site system, ensuring they align with customer objectives and budgetary constraints.
Prepare and present technical documentation, including statement of compliance, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and solution documents.
Coordinate with internal teams (Product engineering units and product management) to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible and align with product capabilities.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor solutions within the telecom power domain.
Provide technical training and knowledge sharing within presales teams to enhance their understanding of telecom power systems.
Manage RFPs/RFIs and ensure timely submission of technical solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations.
The skills you bring:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecom Engineering, or related field.
7-10 years of experience in telecom power systems, with at least 3-5 years in a presales or technical sales support role.
Strong understanding of telecom power solutions, including DC power systems, rectifiers, controllers and backup solutions.
Proven experience in customer-facing roles with the ability to translate complex technical details into easy-to-understand solutions.
Familiarity with telecom site infrastructure including power management, energy efficiency, and renewable energy solutions.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards for telecom power systems.
