We are seeking a Solution Architect for Packet Core Networks to design, implement, and optimize EPC/5G Core solutions for telecom operators. You will take end-to-end ownership of architecture to ensure solutions meet customer needs, industry standards, and business objectives. As a member of our dynamic E2E Solution deployment team, you will be instrumental in establishing Ericsson as a trusted partner through your technical expertise, support for business development, and consultative engagements across the Core Networks (CN) portfolio.
What you will do:
• By analysing customer needs and requirements (CIQ), design and dimension end-to-end technical solutions that utilize the Ericsson Core Networks portfolio and capabilities.• Contribute to prepare the efforts estimation based on high level solution document.• Prepare the high quality HLD/LLD for E2E Core Network solution specially Packet core (5GC/DMC Solution) as per scope and PDU guidelines, improving efficiency through adoption of automation tools and fostering innovation.• Manage technical discussions with internal stakeholders and related organizations within the Market Area and Business Area with regards to feature enhancements and roadmap updates. • Cross functional engagement and understand the Test case requirement and support the SSI in E2E testing.
Skills you will bring
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
• BE/ B.Tech• 10+ years of experience with the Core Networks portfolio, including hands-on experience in Cloud Native Infrastructure, Packet Core, Policy, IMS, UDM/UDR, HLR/HSS, MSS, MGW, LBS domains including understanding of regulatory requirements.
Required Skills: -• Design end-to-end core Network Solutions including EPG & 5G Core (PCC: AMF, SMF, PCG: UPF, CCXX, PCXX).• Strong understanding of E2E Call flow for 3GPP network. • Strong knowledge of packet core architecture (vEPC, MME,SGW,PGW/EPG)• Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across 4G, 5G NSA, 5G SA packet core networks• Strong skills on Architecture and Interfaces for Ericsson Core network elements IMS, MSC, MGW and E2E network.• Understanding or hands-on IMS solutions (VoLTE, VoWiFi, multimedia) and define the architecture for core IMS nodes (CSCF, TAS, SBC, MRF, DNS).• Experience serving as a lead or solution architect in the delivery of complex Core Networks solutions deployment.• Strong understanding of telecom network online LCM flow and handling.• Leadership skills, including the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex engagements.• Very good understanding of Cloud/Virtualization (NFV/SDN).• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes with exposure to Cloud Native solutions.• Very Good understanding of Wireshark / signalling analysers.• Collaborative Mindset: Open‐minded and adept at collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups.• Knowledge and adaptability to Automation and AI related tools, methodology and practices.• Shall be able to deliver with High quality standards and ensure First Time Right delivery.
