Monotype Solutions India is a strategic center of excellence for Monotype and is a certified Great Place to Work® three years in a row. The India center is the largest headcount location of Monotype. It is based in NOIDA, Sector 125 (Delhi/NCR). The focus of this fast-growing center spans Product Development, Product Management, Experience Design, User Research, Market Intelligence, Research in areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, Innovation, Customer Success, Enterprise Business Solutions, and Sales.

What we’re looking for:

• Freshers with background in Computer Science and interested in programming, system engineering and troubleshooting 

• Having understanding of Windows & Linux systems including networking concepts. 
• Preferred having understanding of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, Pingdom, Sentry, TICK stack etc. 
• Preferred having understanding of GIT, bitbucket, or GitHub and the Features branching workflow 
• Preferred having understanding of Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Route53, RDS, autoscaling, ECS, Redshift) 
• Preferred having understanding of emerging DevOps tools (Spinnaker, Packer, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins) 

• Understanding in Agile development environment 
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership over critical problem areas. 

You will have an opportunity to: 

• LEARN leading technological stacks

• MAINTAIN the business continuity by driving opportunity of making systems highly resilient. 
• PROACTIVELY monitor and improve end-to-end system performance, identify bottlenecks and potential failures. 
• PARTICIPATE in supporting a 24x7 rotation for production issue escalation, if needed. 
• PARTNER with engineering & product teams to provide high available and reliable systems 
• WORK with the broader team to build and maintain high performance, flexible and highly scalable web, and mobile based applications  

• PERFORM technical root causes analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems 
• ACHIEVE engineering excellence by implementing standard practices and standards

•Monotype is expanding globally. Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is desirable (not mandatory) for this role: German, Japanese, French, Spanish.
