We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale a Database infrastructure that consists of more than ~2000 fat servers in 4 data centers and multiple regions. As part of the Production Engineering team, you’ll work with us on a Database infrastructure and related tooling. In this position, you'll:- Define, lead, and execute improvements and changes to our database infrastructure to effectively manage growth, technology evolution, and scaling requirements.
- Actively participate in team decision-making and shaping the roadmap for database infrastructure years ahead.
- Build and improve tooling around our Database infrastructure and automate operations with Temporal workflows.
- Lead and manage database initiatives that span across different domains within the company.
- Proactively identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement and develop and implement the necessary solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation within the team every ~9th week.
- At least 2 years of programming experience preferably in Go.
- A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master concepts and technologies we use.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes and deep knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Strong advocate for automation.
- You communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

The salary range for this position is € 5,100 - € 9,150 gross per month.
