Simulation Engineer (f/m)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Simulation Engineer (f/m) to join our Modeling & Simulation Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing real-time simulation of the complete aircraft for design engineers, test engineers, suppliers and pilots. As part of the integration team you will manage real-time simulations products that simulate aircraft systems, flight physics and aeronautical environment and you will deliver them to Airbus internal or external customers.

Your challenges:

• Define and plan the evolutions of simulation products according to customers’ needs,

• Coordinate the development of product subcomponents (simulation models, simulation frameworks and electronic interfaces),

• Integrate and validate those evolutions from a multi-system standpoint,

• Deliver to our customers the new products and the associated documentations,

• Ensure products performance and representativeness,

• Provide technical support to our customers,

• Propose innovative solutions in order to improve our product policy,

• Steer subcontracted or offshore activities.

Your boarding pass:

• Educational background oriented simulation / industry (Aeronautics) environment 

• Bring together software development, project management and aircraft systems skills

• Software knowledge (but no development within this position): Linux, C, scripts & configuration management.

• Applied computer science to be able to handle different information and build virtual aircraft.

• General understanding of Aircraft systems and willing to learn how different systems are linked and work together.

• Advanced level of English and French (mandatory)
