Position Summary:

The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Analyst supports Q2IMPACT on an infrastructure evaluation. They will support primary data collection, including conducting key informant interviews and focus group discussions in one or more of the following countries: Mauritania, Togo, Senegal, Gabon and Guinea.  The position collaborates closely with the evaluation team to contribute to evaluation activities.


Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, statistics, research methods, public policy, international relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, data management, or a related area.
  • Basic knowledge of MEL principles.
  • Experience with data collection including Key Informant Interview.
  • Experience with qualitative analysis approaches and report writing
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • English language proficiency
  • May be required to travel to multiple countries in the West Africa region

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • French language proficiency
  • Exposure to foreign assistance projects or related fields.
