About the location:

Four Seasons Yacht I

With elegant lines and sweeping ocean views, our spectacular yacht is home to 95 expansive suites and guest rooms, alongside a world-class choice of dining, wellness, and entertainment. It delivers numerous industry firsts to the yacht category — including the largest accommodations in the class, virtually endless ways to connect and configure suites, and Four Seasons unparalleled hospitality extended across the world’s oceans for the very first time.

Each of the yacht’s 95 suites will offer panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows and access to expansive private terraces.

About the role
The primary responsibilities of the Shore Experience Manager are to manage the Shore Experience Concierge team and head up the Shore Experience Department.

What you will do:

  • Overall management of the Shore Experience department.
  • Effectively promote and manage FSY shore excursions, overland tours and private arrangements for each individual voyage.
  • Manage all shore-related FSY activities and liaise with Director of Rooms & Guest Experience teams.
  • Manage the creation of bespoke arrangements for all guests
  • Confirm tour and private arrangements with shore tour operators in a timely manner.
  • Assign and supervise duties to Shore Experience Concierge team and communicate with Guest Service Specialists in the tour related areas, to ensure efficient and smooth FSY guest services.
  • Manage dispatch and tour operation, check critical tour components, and recommend improvements. Work with tour operators to survey new tour opportunities.
  • Verify invoices and authorize payment for all shore experience related services.
  • Manage the financials of the department.
  • Follow and execute Hotel Policies as set in the Hotel department Standard operating procedure (SOP)
  • Be familiar with FSY, Environmental, Safety and Security Policy and carry out the policies and procedures as appropriate to their position. 

What you bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in luxury hotels and/or onboard cruise line.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Standard accounting skills, ability to comprehend & manage sales budget.
  • Ability to interact with the luxury market and high net worth guests.
  • Vast port knowledge in line with experience in a similar position.
  • Willingness and personality to work within structured shipboard environment.
  • Must have previous sea going experience

Preferred 

  • Previous luxury ship experience
  • Additional Languages such as Spanish, French, or German

Required computer skills  

  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook) 
  • Proficiency in hotel management and shore experience management software systems

Willingness to live and work onboard the Yacht for extended periods, with travel to various international destinations.
