In this high-impact role, you will support the broader shareholder engagement team, helping to maintain and develop positive relationships with Equifax’s institutional investors and other stakeholders primarily on matters related to corporate governance, including ESG and sustainability priorities. You will be part of a team that is responsible for listening to and understanding investors’ concerns, accurately communicating those concerns to senior management and the Equifax board of directors, and advocating on Equifax’s behalf to investors.
You will collaborate with teams across the business and assist with the execution of our governance-focused shareholder engagement activities, including engaging directly with shareholders, producing internal and external collateral, documents and reports, organizing meetings, and maintaining accurate team records.
This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Office of Corporate Secretary, and will be a hybrid workplace model offering the flexibility to work remotely as well as in our newly-renovated global corporate HQ building in Midtown! (This is not a fully-remote role)
What you’ll do:

Maintain the investor contact list and assist with the distribution of selected materials to Equifax investors; monitor incoming emails and other inquiries from investors and other stakeholders, direct as appropriate and ensure timely follow-up.

Arrange, prepare for and participate in meetings with Equifax shareholders and other stakeholders on matters related to corporate governance; keep detailed notes of each meeting.

Perform research to identify market trends and peer practices related to governance and ESG topics.

Help prepare investor engagement materials and other disclosures and reports for distribution to internal and external stakeholders; maintain archive of investor research and feedback; help to prepare regular updates on shareholder engagement activities for review by senior management and the Equifax board.

Help develop and maintain the annual program of governance-focused shareholder engagement activities for the calendar year ahead.

Gather information for and prepare investor communication materials and internal memos, slide decks and reports; maintain well-organized archive of investor feedback and research.

Document investor feedback and develop, implement, maintain and track progress on Equifax’s ESG initiatives. Frequently collaborate with stakeholders across Equifax to help produce disclosures and reports on company initiatives and progress related to ESG and governance.

Take a leadership role in developing Equifax’s annual environmental reporting and disclosures, including our CDP survey responses.

Help maintain and update the governance-focused portions of the Equifax website.

Participate in the cross-functional Equifax Environmental Management Committee, which facilitates collaboration across the company to promote environmental initiatives and meets regularly to develop recommendations, track progress, support the collection and analysis of data, and create communications materials.
What experience you need:

A four-year Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of two years’ directly related experience in an equivalent role in a business environment that provides the knowledge, experience and skills needed for the functional duties of the job.

Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective public speaker who communicates ideas in a clear, succinct manner. Able to tailor written and oral communications, as appropriate, depending on the audience and intended use.

Highly-developed planning, project-management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines; eye for detail; ability to anticipate and solve logistical problems.

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in close collaboration with others; discrete and professional in handling confidential information; demonstrates the presence, confidence and experience to interact independently with shareholders while representing Equifax's interest is a must.

Some work outside normal business hours (20-30%) and travel (5-10%) is required.
