Your Impact

As a CX Finance Business Manager, you will be a key technical resource and strategic partner for the CX Product Management (CXPM) team, responsible for sophisticated financial analysis that integrates business strategies with profitability, including using AI-driven predictive modeling to improve modeling accuracy.

Depending on the specific focus area, your responsibilities will include:

Focus 1: CX Business Entity (BE) Support
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with BE-specific leadership to develop financials for business plans, ensuring that CX strategies are coordinated with the broader Business Entity goals.

  • Modeling & Forecasting: Own the modeling for forecast, bookings, and revenue impact for new product introductions and product life cycles within BE.

  • Decision Support: Evaluate and "sell" alternative solutions to senior management, influencing outcomes related to product pricing, functionality, and marketing strategy within the BE.

  • Portfolio Integration: Own the financial outlook for how BE-specific hardware and software integrate with CX support offers.

Focus 2: CX Offer Support (Support & Professional Services)
  • Offer Economics: Drive the financial strategy for CX Specific offers, including Support Services and Professional Services.

  • Subscription Modeling: Model the margin impact of new selling motions, embedded support, and subscription-based programs/promotions.

  • P&L Management: Understand driven market dynamics and pricing assumptions to handle the impact of plans on both the P&L and Balance Sheet.

  • Process Innovation: Establish and recommend changes to financial policies and reporting processes to improve the accuracy of business volume outlooks and risk management.

Be a highly visible partner, working across:
  • CX Finance: FP&A, Regional teams, Renewals, and Corporate Finance.

  • Business Partners: CX Product Management, CX Operations, CX Strategy & Planning, and Sales Finance.

  • Leadership: present technical financial data and strategic recommendations to senior management and cross-functional partners.

Strategic problem solver with a high degree of accountability. You don’t just report the numbers; you provide the "why" and the "what’s next."

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.

  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience with a BS degree OR 3+ years of related experience with an MBA.

  • Technical Expertise: Consistent record in data analysis, planning and financial modeling. General, cost, or business unit expertise with shown skills in business partnership, forecasting, and budgeting

  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Advanced Analysis: Ability to develop sophisticated financials for business plans and link financial goals to business profitability.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Business Objects or similar ERP tools

  • AI: experience leading or supporting AI-driven projects specifically passionate about optimizing financial models, forecasting, and operational efficiency metrics

  • Influence: Viewed as a technical resource throughout the organization; able to effectively sell alternative solutions and influence business strategy.

  • Leadership: Experience delegating assignments, establishing achievements, and mentoring junior team members.

  • Communication: Clear and concise presentation style, capable of discussing complex business issues with senior leadership.

Skills Required
