The Role

Steadily is an insurance technology company that specializes in rental property insurance for landlords. We’re four years old, just over 160 people, manage $20B in risk, and are intent on becoming the world’s best and largest insurer of rental properties.

We exist to deliver fast, affordable insurance and to pay claims quickly and fairly. To do that, we hire the best engineers, actuaries, sales, and service people in the country to build the experience that we’d want if we were the client.

In this role, you’ll own the web and SEO strategy and adopt a “growth hacker” mindset to unlock exponential growth through test and learn and continuous optimization. You’ll build a framework to analyze performance and identify opportunities to drive continual improvement of our web marketing strategy. You’ll be a member of the marketing team and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the vision and strategy for growing Steadily.com, leveraging SEO keyword insights and web analytics to identify opportunities to scale.

  • Develop the overall web content strategy, including identifying opportunities for new landing pages, programmatic SEO content, keyword-driven video content, and more.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in content, design, brand, product, and engineering to execute the web growth strategy.

  • Oversee technical SEO metrics and work collaboratively with the growth engineering team to perfect Steadily’s core web vitals and on-site experience.

  • Design and conduct thoughtful experiments and tests to optimize performance and enhance the customer journey on Steadily.com.

  • Implement necessary tracking, build reporting dashboards, and measure performance to drive continuous improvements.

Ideal Background

  • Experienced: Proven track record of driving downstream lead and revenue metrics through web content/SEO/CRO.

  • Scrappy: You get excited by the challenge to do more with less and thrive on finding creative ways to grow faster and smarter, leveraging AI and automation where possible.

  • Builder: You have experience building programmatic SEO strategies for brands in hyper-growth stage and understand how to remain dominant through frequent Google core updates.

  • Digital: You are a savvy growth marketer who is comfortable with a variety of digital tools and platforms, including: Figma, Ahrefs, Webflow, and Performance and attribution tools (Google Analytics, Metabase, Mixpanel, etc). 

  • Hungry: You want to make the leap into an early-stage tech startup to rapidly accelerate your growth.

Compensation

  • Starting salary of at least $150,000 per year

  • Equity in the company

  • 3 weeks PTO plus six federal holidays
