A leading international agency based in Cape Town is currently looking for a detail-driven SEO analyst to join their team.
The role is to service clients in ZA markets and based in Cape Town.Some of your main duties will include in-depth technical audits, onpage and IA optimisation, editorial/ content strategies, on-going onsite monthly maintenance, backlink analysis and monthly reporting.
This is a client facing role. The ideal candidate is an SEO all rounder with an aptitude for technical SEO. Our offices are based in Cape Town, however a flexible WFH policy is currently in place.
REQUIREMENTS
- Min 2.5 - 4 years agency SEO experience essential
- Ability to manage and lead client accounts
- Ability to carry out technical audits on large e-commerce sites essential
- ZA client experience and ability to liaise with a cross territory team
- Experience with important SEO data tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Data Studio, Google PageSpeed Insights etc)
- Excellent keyword analysis and research skills
- Experience in SEO tactics including IA optimisation, onpage, content, internal linking, backlinking, Page Experience and GMB to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Good understanding of website performance metrics
- Ability to compile reports and dashboards, interpret data and deliver actionable insights
- Ability to think strategically
- Exceptional attention to details with an analytical and technical aptitude
- Proactive with a learning and growth mindset
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent spelling, grammar and verbal communication skills
- Experience with SME and enterprise-level CMS
- Detailed knowledge of Google’s algorithm updates
- An understanding of how SEO impacts wider marketing efforts
