JR70881 Senior/Staff Engineer, Advanced Modeling
In the TD Advanced Modeling Group in Hyderabad you will work in a multi-functional team of engineers highly skilled in the modeling of materials, process, structure, and reactors.
- Develop and validate finite element models for structural, mechanical stress/strain analysis.
- Ability to comprehend statistical process analysis and control systems.
- Conduct simulations and analyze results to optimize designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize data analysis and machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and troubleshoot engineering issues.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate analysis results and recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in FEA, FEM, numerical methods, and computational geometry.
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in computational modeling.
- Familiar with FEA, FVM, PFM, HPEM, methods and implementations.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Perl, FORTRAN, C++).
- Experience with data analysis tools and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Python, MATLAB, TensorFlow).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HPC on Linux environment
- Experience with computational geometry and mesh generation techniques.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of multi-physics simulations and advanced material models.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
