Job Description Summary:
Reports to an IT functional leader and is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) platforms and internal/external systems. This role ensures high quality, scalable, and secure integration solutions that support business operations across HR, payroll, timekeeping, advanced scheduling, and related functions.The UKG Integration Developer partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and third party vendors to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, develop integrations and implement integrations following established SDLC and DevOps methodologies. The role ensures continuity of data flow, supports ongoing enhancements, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and automation across systems.
This role may also be responsible for managing vendor relationships related to UKG technologies and supporting the successful delivery of integration work across multiple business units.
Responsibilities And Duties:
40% – Integration Development & SupportDesigns, develops, tests, and maintains integrations between UKG platforms and internal/external systems.
Builds and supports APIs, flat‑file integrations, scheduled data flows, and custom connectors.
Ensures scalability, reliability, and accuracy of data transfers.
20% – Requirements & Solution Design
Works with HR, Payroll, IT, and business partners to gather requirements.
Translates functional needs into technical specifications, mapping documents, and workflows.
Documents all integration designs and data flow diagrams.
20% – Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinates with UKG support, third‑party vendors, and internal teams.
Troubleshoots and resolves system or vendor‑related data flow issues.
Ensures integrations follow UKG best practices.
15% – Daily Operations & Monitoring
Monitors integration performance, logs, and error queues.
Provides issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term remediation.
Ensures compliance with data governance and audit requirements.
5% – Continuous Improvement
Identifies opportunities for automation, optimization, and modernization.
Recommend process improvements aligned with organizational strategy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree: Computer and Information ScienceAdditional Job Description:
degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in and support within a healthcare environment.
Dell Boomi certification is required
