Job DescriptionAs a Senior Web Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality frontend solutions across diverse architectures. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to bridge modern and legacy systems, ensuring consistent quality, maintainability, and performance.
You will be working closely with a single client across two distinct frontend codebases:
- A Sitecore monolith using Razor templating, React, jQuery, Cludo Search, and ZURB Foundation.
- A modern Sitecore JSS headless setup built with Next.js, TypeScript, SCSS, and Storybook.
This position demands flexibility, strong technical judgment, and the ability to enforce best practices across both ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex application features, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Drive development with a broader architectural and strategic perspective.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, project leads, and design teams.
- Enforce and promote code quality standards and modern frontend best practices.
- Mentor developers and onboard new team members.
- Apply AI-assisted development workflows effectively in daily work.
- Ensure long-term code stability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Identify and resolve issues related to usability, performance, and accessibility.
- Provide accurate time and effort estimates during project planning.
- Integrate and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to project needs.
- Share knowledge through departmental training, documentation, and code reviews.
- Conduct technical audits and contribute to technical reporting.
- Follow and improve development and release processes.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Proven track record of leading frontend projects successfully.
- Hands-on experience working in agile development environments (SCRUM).
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Experience working in .NET environments and with Sitecore.
- Ability to read and understand .NET framework code.
- Solid experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
- Strong proficiency with jQuery.
- Experience with Razor templating.
- Experience applying accessibility (A11y), SEO, and security best practices in production environments.
- Experience working with SCSS.
- Experience using Storybook.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools in peer workflows.
- Familiarity with Cludo Search.
- Experience with ZURB Foundation.
- Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Able to work independently while keeping a holistic project perspective.
- Passionate about frontend development, AI, and continuous learning.
