Senior Visual Designer (Contract)

What will you work on?
We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer contractor to join our Toronto team. In this role, you will act as a champion for the visual identities of Spin Master's kids' entertainment and toy brands, as well as our corporate brand identity. This is a dynamic, hybrid role requiring a mix of strategic branding (developing campaign logos and style guides) and high-volume, hands-on digital design production.
How will you create impact?

• Develop assets for Spin Master's corporate brand identity.

• Design campaign logos and establish the visual tone of voice for new global product launches.

• Create comprehensive campaign style guides to keep creative partners aligned.

• Design high-converting eComm assets, paid and organic social campaigns, and digital banners.

• Lead high-volume, platform-specific production work, maintaining meticulous file organization in a fast-paced environment.

• Turn high-level creative briefs into stunning visual assets and present concepts confidently to cross-functional brand teams.

• Provide creative direction and collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive creative vision and high-quality execution.

• Support physical environmental design, including Point of Sale (POS) and Trade Fair visual experiences, as needed.

What are your skills and experience?

• Proven track record in graphic, digital, or visual design within a fast-paced creative environment.

• Expert-level mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Experience with Figma and SketchUp is considered a strong asset.

• Exceptional production skills with a proven ability to handle heavy, high-volume asset creation with pixel-perfect accuracy.

• Proven experience designing traditional marketing materials, including print ads, catalog layouts, and style guides.

• Strong technical foundation in typography, color theory, and spatial layout tailored for global consumer brands.

• Prior experience in Retail/POS, Trade Fair, or environmental physical design is highly valued.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $80,000 to $90,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
