This program aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee activities related to monitoring, administering, and ensuring recoverability of and adherence to VMWare standards and policies
- Manage technical infrastructure and application environments.
- Manage and monitor the capture and virtualization of production data.
- Manage the evaluation of server implementations that capture virtualization requirements.
- Ensure STIGs are correctly implemented to secure the virtualization infrastructure.
- Manage the encryption infrastructure for the hardware environment.
- Manage, design, plan, build, configure and maintain the virtual server infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field with five (5) or more years of experience in determining information technology effects on the organizational structure and determining the ability that IT can support/meet organizational goals. A Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience or a PhD and 0+ years of experience may be substituted.
- Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
- At least one of the following certifications desired:
- VMWare Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization
- VMWare Certified Advanced Professional – Data Center Virtualization

- VMWare vSphere version 6 and higher
- VMWare vCenter
- VMware vRealize Suite Cloud Management Platform
