Job Description:About the Role
Broadcom’s Infrastructure Management Division (IMS) delivers industry-leading solutions that help global enterprises monitor, manage, and optimize identity and access management in their most complex environments. We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our Product Design team and shape the next generation of enterprise products used by IT operations, engineers, and business leaders.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in highly technical domains, loves solving complex problems at scale, and can translate advanced workflows into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers across global teams to deliver designs that balance clarity, usability, and technical constraints.
You’ll play a key role in modernizing the user experience of a mature product ecosystem—bringing contemporary design thinking, evolving our design systems, and driving customer-centric decision-making across our suite of enterprise solutions.
If you’re passionate about making advanced systems approachable, enjoy solving design challenges in technical domains, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do As a Senior UX Designer, you will:
● Lead the end-to-end UX process—research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and high-fidelity designs.
● Partner with PMs, engineers, and researchers to understand customer workflows, pain points, and requirements, and translate them into scalable solutions.
● Champion user-centered design and customer validation across the product lifecycle, and in roadmap and product strategy discussions.
● Advocate for UX best practices and accessibility, ensuring usability is built into every product decision.
● Drive data-informed, user-validated design by collaborating with stakeholders to embed customer insights and usability feedback into pre and post design processes.
● Contribute to evolving our design system by identifying gaps, proposing scalable patterns, and ensuring visual and interaction consistency across product lines.
● Bring a systems thinking mindset to bridge design patterns across new and existing experiences.
● Explore and apply AI-assisted design tools to accelerate workflows, validate ideas, and improve outcomes.
Skills & Experience Required:
● Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of UX Design experience (or Master’s with 3+ years) in UX Design, HCI, Cognitive Science, Product Design, or related field.
● Demonstrated expertise in designing complex, technical, or enterprise-scale applications, with a portfolio that highlights this depth.
● Expertise in simplifying complex workflows into intuitive, usable designs.
● Contribute to and apply design system standards to create cohesive, user-friendly experiences.
● Excellent interaction design skills and ability to communicate design rationale effectively.
● Proficiency in Figma, component libraries, interaction design, and visual polish.
● Experience working within Agile development environments.
● Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional, global teams.
● Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to shape problem spaces.
● Experience with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, other).
● Background in enterprise software, infrastructure management, or system monitoring tools.
Preferred:
● Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
● Experience facilitating design workshops, design sprints, or cross-functional collaboration sessions.
● Passion for mentoring peers and sharing design best practices.
