Senior Training Advisor

Finastra has signed an agreement to sell its Universal Banking business to Pollen Street Capital, with completion expected end 2026 / early 2027, subject to consultation and customary closing conditions. Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.

What will you contribute?
Senior Training Advisor is responsible for the creation of comprehensive end-to-end training and enablement artifacts based on in-depth training needs analysis, To curate training programs catering to a variety of learning groups and profiles. Keep track of product release cycles and keep the training agenda and content current, Deliver standard and custom end-user functional training to clients and comprehensive functional training to new and existing partners. Play a key role in driving and helping create a vibrant learning and development ecosystem. Build a motivating environment for employees, clients, and partners and ensure continuous upskilling to be at the top of the game in the marketplace.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Understand the key processes of product release cycles and align to build the enablement and training content roadmap.

• Deliver high-quality Instructor-led Essence Technical installation and software development studio training: Standard and Custom to clients and Partners through online channels and/or in-person.

• Plan, execute, and deliver high-quality content to meet both instructor-driven and self-learning training needs. Work closely with various stakeholders to operationalize all training/enablement engagements both internal and external.  

• Collaborate with business units to build and maintain training delivery infrastructure like training environments, training labs for hands-on practice, and post-training support systems

• Develop and execute assessment framework to validate program effectiveness and run certification programs

Required Experience: 8+ Years -10 Years

• Experience in conducting technical training on core banking solutions on Java/J2EE platforms.
• Extensive experience in conducting training on Web Services (REST), Microservices, XML-based messaging, JHipster, UI Technologies (VueJS), and Spring frameworks such as Spring boot, Spring MVC, Spring security, Spring data, and Spring Integration.
• In-depth understanding of databases like Oracle, DB2, and Postgres and architecture in core and retail banking solutions

• Established track record of knowledge management in technical areas and passion for delivering high-quality training.

• Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English language(Must and Should)
