Job Summary & Responsibilities

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Tier-4 Analyst to work in the National Capital Region covering the Pentagon, Falls Church, and Fairfax. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The War Data Platform (WDP) is a key initiative within the U.S. Department of War's (DoW) AI-First strategy introduced in early 2026. The WDP focuses on operational warfighting data and aims to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on the battlefield. The WDP extends to Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments, and supports collaboration between Combatant Commands, Joint Staff directorates, Senior Executive Service leaders, and operational analysts.

The Senior Tier-4 Analyst serves as the senior-most external vendor escalation authority within the WDP user support hierarchy, directing enterprise vendor engagement and cross-functional coordination during complex, mission-critical platform disruptions spanning classified and unclassified cloud environments. This role is essential to sustaining operational readiness and platform continuity across WDP Core Integration, Joint All-Domain Command and Control environments, and Combatant Command decision support ecosystems in direct support of Joint Staff and Office of the Secretary of Defense stakeholders.

• Provides Tier 4 external vendor escalation support for mission-critical analytics ecosystems supporting WDP Core Integration, Joint All-Domain Command and Control operational environments, and Combatant Command decision support activities supporting Joint Staff and Office of the Secretary of Defense stakeholders.
• Directs enterprise vendor engagement during large-scale platform disruptions impacting distributed cloud services across AWS GovCloud, Secret Region infrastructure, and Intelligence Community cloud environments supporting Joint All-Domain operational data exchange.
• Coordinates warranty repair and replacement actions for enterprise compute infrastructure including tactical workstations, secure enclave endpoints, and specialized analytics hardware deployed across Combatant Command operational nodes.
• Executes advanced vendor case management through ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Splunk telemetry analysis, Amazon CloudWatch monitoring, and enterprise asset management systems to isolate platform faults, validate infrastructure anomalies, and transmit defect artifacts to software vendors supporting mission analytics platforms.
• Manages enterprise escalation workflows during multi-tenant service disruptions affecting WDP data ingestion pipelines, cross-domain identity federation services, and Joint operational analytics applications.
• Tracks operational metrics including mean time to vendor response, escalation cycle duration, vendor resolution compliance, and mission service restoration performance across distributed cloud regions supporting joint operational planning environments.
• Produces incident escalation packages, vendor defect submissions, root cause documentation, and remediation coordination plans supporting platform sustainment objectives across Department of War modernization initiatives.
• Coordinates engineering, cybersecurity, and platform operations elements during enterprise vendor engagements to accelerate restoration timelines and maintain operational readiness across Joint All-Domain data ecosystems supporting Combatant Command mission execution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• 10 or more years of progressive experience in enterprise IT support, platform operations, or systems engineering roles, with demonstrated senior-level responsibility for Tier 3 or Tier 4 vendor escalation management in classified or federal government cloud environments, including direct engagement with commercial software and infrastructure vendors on behalf of mission-critical programs.
• Hands-on experience executing advanced case management and vendor escalation workflows using enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management, including the ability to isolate platform faults, compile defect artifacts, and manage escalation lifecycle metrics such as mean time to vendor response and resolution compliance across distributed multi-enclave environments.
• Demonstrated experience using operational monitoring and telemetry platforms such as Splunk, Amazon CloudWatch, or equivalent tools to diagnose infrastructure anomalies, validate platform fault signatures, and produce root cause documentation in support of vendor defect submissions and mission service restoration.
• Experience managing enterprise escalation activities involving cloud-hosted platforms in AWS GovCloud, classified cloud environments, or Intelligence Community enclaves, including coordination across engineering, cybersecurity, and platform operations teams to accelerate vendor resolution timelines and sustain mission readiness.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
• Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management).

  • 10 or more years of enterprise IT support experience
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
  • Experience using Splunk or Amazon CloudWatch
