Duties include network analysis/monitoring, DISA STIG remediation, troubleshooting complex network environments, producing architecture/process diagrams, and briefing leadership. Requires hands-on implementation, documentation, and cross-team communication, including occasional deployments to CONUS/OCONUS Army sites.

Support a Senior Engineer to configure, deploy, and document desktop systems and standard network infrastructure globally. Stage systems in Fairfax, VA; integrate users into Active Directory/Intune; manage patching, AV, GPO, WiFi, and IP cameras; train and assist overseas IT staff; handle procurement, shipping, inventory, and maintain a Fairfax lab prototype and backups.

Provide remote network and cyber infrastructure engineering for NIH NIAID NEAT: supervise and perform network hardware and OS changes, evaluate system utilization, troubleshoot physical and logical network issues, plan and implement new network infrastructure, maintain TCP/IP standards, and provide technical consultation and training.

Design, build, install, and manage relational databases including modeling, architecture, metadata/repository creation, configuration management, and performance tuning. Define database standards, controls, procedures, and documentation. Provide technical consulting and advise application developers on data solutions and database operations.
