About this opportunity:
Join Ericsson as a Integration Engineer for the Ericsson Wallet Platform (EWP), where you'll manage critical API integrations across AWS/Kubernetes environments. This role executes comprehensive test cases to verify sync/async flows, XML-over-HTTP protocols, and fintech services processing high-volume financial /non-financial transactions. You'll ensure compliance with financial regulations, data security, and privacy across global deployments.
What you will do:
- Design and execute API functional tests using JMeter/Bruno for REST/XML-over-HTTP endpoints and complex fintech workflows
- Develop Python/JavaScript automation scripts for sync/async API flows with JSON/YAML/XML payloads
- Leverage Amazon Q for scripting, test case creation, Groovy debugging, and simulator development
- Deploy/upgrade services on AWS EKS using Helm charts, kubectl, and GitOps pipelines with zero-downtime strategies
- Define integration strategies per contract, validate XML-over-HTTP protocols, and ensure first-time-right test execution
- Prepare/collect/validate test scripts, ensure OS/HW/SW/licenses availability, and drive process improvements
- Execute test cases across simulators and production-like environments while diagnosing Kubernetes pod/service issues

Core Technical:
- API Testing: JMeter/Bruno - HTTP Requests, JSON Extractors, JSR223, Parallel Controller, CSV Data Sets
- Protocols: XML-over-HTTP, REST APIs, JSON/YAML payloads, mTLS security
- Scripting: Python (requests), JavaScript (axios), Groovy (JMeter automation)
- Cloud/DevOps: AWS EKS, Helm3 upgrades, kubectl debugging, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux)
- Simulators: Node-RED on Kubernetes for upstream/downstream API mocking
- AI Tools: Amazon Q Developer for test generation, script optimization
Integration & Delivery:
- Automation: Test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, regression suite maintenance
- Troubleshooting: Kubernetes pod evictions, Helm rollback, API error diagnosis
- Change Management: Process improvements, EWP 22.30+ deployment validation
- Stakeholder Management: Leadership dashboards, TR fix validation
- Service Delivery: Contract scope, cost/time estimation, first-time-right execution
