Job Purpose: The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IT applications and services, supporting the organization’s strategy in information technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to verify software changes.
- Automate test cases to improve testing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes.
- Communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Maintain and update test environments and tools.
- Research and implement new testing methodologies and tools.
